The Harrisburg Area Museum, also known as Heritage Park, displays a remarkable collection of local historical artifacts that help preserve a bygone era. Many of the items date to the early 1900s, and are an excellent example of how things were back then. This window into the area’s heritage is a fascinating attraction, drawing visitors from all over.

Antique Farm Equipment

The Harrisburg Area Museum is noteworthy for its large collection of antique farm equipment including tractors, trucks, and steam engines. The equipment has been restored and can be operated.

bruce witmer exhibit

Bruce Witmer was a local man of many talents. He made amazing miniature wood replicas of actual buildings and scenes, many containing thousands of pieces. He also made intricately carved furniture and drawings of old Harrisburg.

Our fully renovated Victorian-era home is full of memorabilia from a bygone era, sending you back in time as soon as you walk through the doors.

The renovated chapel, brought in from nearby Shedd, is available for rent and perfect for small wedding ceremonies.
